305 CARDIO DANCE REVOLUTION

To be honest, I am not a dancer or much of an athlete. I am "directionally challenged" (you know this if you've taken my yoga classes  ) BUT I DO LOVE MUSIC AND MOVING TO MUSIC. So if you, like me, have to move when you hear a Pitbull song on the radio,  I highly encourage you to give 305-CDR a try! When I have talked to people about the class, some of the reactions I get are "I'm not a dancer”, “I don't have rhythm",  "I don't have shoes", "I don't have time"…..

So let me address the concerns and tell you about the incredible benefits of 305 Cardio Dance Revolution

First of all, you might be wondering “What IS 305 Cardio Dance Revolution”? It is a high intensity cardio and core work out using Latin and contemporary dance moves. Each song uses different simple choreography. You really don't need to be a dancer or have rhythm. The moves that we do in 305 CDR are very similar to the leg exercises that we do in Inferno Hot Pilates. Before we go into each dance, I will show you the steps and then we repeat the steps of each dance every class so after a while it becomes muscle memory. It is definitely not a dance class, so the moves do not have to be precise.  All you need is a willingness to have fun and move your body.. 305 CDR is offered on Thursdays immediately following the 1130 IHP class (which is only 45 mins). So it's super convenient to just stay for the class. We also offer it on Fridays at 12:30 (for your lunch hour) and every other Sunday at 6 (before Yin). If you would like to see other class times for 305 CDR on the schedule which are more convenient, let us know and we will add classes.. The studio is cooled down for class (absolutely no heat)  305 CDR is so much fun and engaging, the one hour feels like 5 minutes and you will not even realize you are working out. You can attend this class with your partner and/or your children. Make it a family activity :) All we ask is that you bring sneakers or rubber soled shoes because there is some impact. Ideally, these would be shoes that you only wear to CDR You can pick up a cheap pair of sneakers at Target or Old Navy. If this is not a possibility, just make sure that the bottoms of your sneakers are cleaned off before class so that we can protect the floor.
