Alexa has been playing sports her entire life, from the soccer field, to the basketball court, to the rugby pitch. To  offset the injuries from contact sports, Alexa found hot yoga in the late 2000's while in high school. But it wasn't until a vicious knee injury in collegiate rugby that she started to really take her practice seriously and reap
the infinite benefits that the yoga had to offer. A few years after college she moved to Colorado and although her time there was fun, exciting, and full of outdoor adventures, one thing was missing-a steady practice at a hot yoga/Pilates studio. We are happy to announce
Alexa has moved home to better focus on getting her Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology  and been working with us since August 2019 as the newest member of our teaching staff. In addition to the yoga, Alexa absolutely loves to both take and teach Inferno Hot Pilates classes! She says that the combination of the two is the absolute best thing she can do for her mind and body and excepts to practice both for the rest of her life! Come to one of her fun-loving and  intense classes for an amazing, feel-good workout accompanied with high energy and a bumpin' play list!!

Brittany OULETTE

Watch Brittany Teach

Brittany fell in love with yoga for its psychological benefits early on in life as a way to cope and manage stress. It wasn’t until her time as a college athlete that she began to realize the physical healing benefits of yoga. As a lifetime practitioner, she sought to deepen her practice by attending teacher training, which she graduated from in 2018. She began teaching at Hot Yoga Auburn in 2019. When she’s not in the hot room, you can find her conducting her fourth grade classroom, skiing or hiking in the mountains, and enjoying the company of her friends and family. Take Brittany’s class and leave feeling peaceful and empowered.

Danielle  began practicing  yoga in 1999, with her mother, when she was in college  She took classes here and there, but never made it a commitment even though she enjoyed it.  Fast-forward to October 2005, when she took her first hot yoga class in Auburn.  She loved it and hated it all at the same time.  She says that it was the most challenging thing she had ever done and that the heat just about killed her. She kept coming back though because it made her feel amazing.  Over time, yoga became a big part of her life and she could see the changes in her body and her outlook on life.

In Spring of 2009, she  took a hiatus from her job and went to California for 9 week 26/2 teacher training, where she became a certified 26/2 Yoga Instructor.  She went back to her  job, but quickly realized she could no longer sit at a desk all day, so she  quit her  full-time job to pursue teaching full time.  After having children she started a  successful freelance design business, AND continues to teach yoga.

Danielle says that "teaching yoga fuels my soul.  I love to watch the students’ journey on the mat.  I love being a small part of their path toward wellness.  I teach with love in the hopes that my students will love themselves as much as I do."

Like many others on the mats, Danielle stumbled into hot yoga fifteen years ago with no real intention of becoming a yogi. After moving to San Francisco and looking for something to replace the daily walking she used to do in NYC, she decided to try yoga. The closest studio to her new home happened to be a hot yoga studio. “If I hadn't gone for the introductory special, I probably wouldn't have gone back, despite having experienced my first ever “runners’ high.” I thought the class and the people taking it were totally nuts!” But back she went, and after just a handful of classes, she noticed a difference in her physique. Danielle loved that she was becoming stronger and more flexible, but more importantly, the yoga was starting to alleviate her longstanding anxiety and depression.

Yoga transformed Danielle’s life in such a positive and comprehensive way, she decided that she had teach this life changing therapy and help others. She completed 500 hour hot yoga teacher training in Fall 2011. Since then, Danielle has taught in San Francisco, New York City, and now back in her home state of Massachusetts. She loves getting to see students have physical, emotional, and even spiritual breakthroughs – and to see their practices become more than just exercise.
